We strongly believe that it is about time that we turn our attention to those issues related to the “real economy”. Indeed, it is more important than ever to gather all the information that may seem inconsequential, but that may in fact contain positive signals for the recovery of Italy’s businesses and the protection of Made in Italy products. According to the new COVID-19 directives issued by the Italian government, the date for submitting applications to obtain concessions and incentives provided for by the Marchi+3 initiative has been postponed to May 6, 2020. This initiative is a subsidy program to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in identifying, defining, creating and protecting their brand on foreign markets.

Tax Alert March 2020 – “Industry 4.0 Training” tax incentives

The 2020 Budget Law (Law 27/12/2019 No.160, Art.1, paragraphs 210-217) extends the tax incentives laid down in the “Industry 4.0 Training” program to the end of 2020. This Budget Law provides for a tax credit of up to 50% on the costs incurred by companies for training of employees in the subjects/sectors designated in the Industry 4.0 training program.
